Hachiman
The evil lord of the sixth heaven is wreaking havoc on the people of Buzen-no-kuni (modern Oita Prefecture), so the god Hondawake-no-mikoto of the Usa Hachiman Shrine in Kyûshû shoots him with a supernatural bow and arrow. The dance praises Iwashimizu Hachiman, the god of archery.
